I'm an Artist in Nottingham in the UK, specialising in animals and wildlife (usually!). Recently i've been inspired by more landscape images. This painting features two sisters in a field of daisies, capturing a beautiful moment as sunlight bursts through the trees. It's waiting for the perfect home! The painting reminds me very much of my own two children, I hope it will connect with someone in the same way. It is painted in watercolour onto Arches watercolour paper, mounted in a double white archival mount, ready to frame. I have always enjoyed art and I love animals, combining them both together was like a lightbulb moment and one that changed my life. I studied Art and Design at my local college, but after this I left to find work and I settled in a job working within the embroidery industry (for 20 years!) It was during this time I rekindled my love of drawing. What began as a hobby, drawing pets for family and friends, soon turned into a side business alongside my embroidery job. My Art became my passion and long term goal. In 2020 I was finally able to fulfil my dream as a full time artist! I am Mum to two children and our furry feline named 'Fudge'.
